According to Benjamin Franklin, nothing is certain but death and taxes. How about doing taxes for the dead? Yep…not so fun times but that’s a story for another day. Today, I’d rather focus on how to keep as many Ben Franklin’s in the ‘ol bank account as possible. And this weekend, the state of Florida is helping with this goal. Helloooooooo……Florida Sales Tax Holiday Weekend!!!!!
You are speaking my money love language! I can stock up on things my family needs and not pay sales tax. Time to do the happy dance…which really resembles the Hokey Pokey ‘cause I have a 4-year-old!
So put your money in and get some clothes/supplies out
Do the hokey pokey and turn yourself around
Saving sales tax is what it’s all about
So here’s the basic info for the Florida 2018 Sales Tax Holiday:
When: Friday, August 3-Sunday, August 5
What: Certain school supplies (less than $15/item) and certain clothing, shoes, accessories (less than $60/item)

Well…I gotta run now…my Target cart is calling me since kids shoes are 25% off through Saturday and tax free! Oh…and sorry (not sorry) about that Hokey Pokey ear worm that’s about to plaque you for days. It’s been with me all week and still going strong!
