Hello Tampa Bay Moms! I am ecstatic to be a part of the Tampa Bay Mom’s Blog and to support one another in our journey to being the best women, wife, and mom we can be…flaws and all!
I am a true Floridian, born and raised in the Sunshine State. I attended a private Christian school in Largo, Florida, where I met my high-school sweetheart…and we have been together ever-since we were 15! My husband and I reside in Pinellas County with our 3 beautiful children who are 8, 6, and 2 ½ years-old and our new puppy Rosie.
I have been a stay-at-home mom now for almost 7 years. I was previously a pediatric registered nurse at a local Tampa Bay Children’s Hospital. I am currently working to earn my certification as a Holistic Health & Wellness Coach. My life consists of spending time with my family, being a “taxi mom” to my kids, writing on my personal blog, and leading health and fitness challenge groups for women. I love to work out whether at my local crossfit or right at home. I enjoy eating clean and finding new healthy recipes that my family enjoys. My newest ventures include being a Health Coach and leading health and fitness challenge groups to help women get healthy and change their lives “Inside-Out”.
A big part of my story as a women, wife, and MOM is the transformation of my health that began after having our 3rd child. I began to experience severe anxiety and panic attacks. My pregnancy was extremely rough physically then the lack of sleep paired with breastfeeding, a Graduate student, and a husband who traveled for work, my body just went CRAZY! It literally shut down on me. For the first time in my life, I felt like I had absolutely no control and it was the worst feeling ever! That was when my life changed and I started becoming a happier, healthier me. I became proactive about my life and my health and started making daily changes to my life to make me a better mom, wife, and women. That was when I began my journey to becoming “Imperfectly Balanced” inside-out.
Since then it has become a passion of mine to help other women, especially moms, to find “their” balance in life spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I work with a number of moms every day and they all struggle with the same thing…trying to find a balance in their roles as a women, wife, and mom. My biggest hope is that through writing on the Tampa Bay Moms Blog, I can share what I have learned with even more women and Moms. I hope my posts can bring you insight on how to become a healthier, happier you “inside-out”. BE INSPIRED!
