Yes, it is that time of the year again; when we force our very little kids, who cry when they see Santa to take a picture with him. So I dressed the kids in their matching Christmas outfits and headed to the mall for pictures with Santa. We have been going every year for the past five years. This year the kids seem to be warming up to the idea of seeing Santa…at least there was no crying, which is a MAJOR accomplishment.
This year International Mall has, none other than, a Frozen theme for pictures with Santa. I would not have expected anything else. In celebration of the November 18 release of the Disney Frozen Sing-Along DVD, International Plaza presents a Frozen experience featuring characters from the number one animated film of all time, Disney Frozen. This much-loved, interactive holiday display features the art of Anna, Elsa and their friends Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. Plus a 30 foot Ice Palace with falling snow, a light show and other activities for the whole family. Interactive globes will showcase scenes such as Anna and Elsa ice skating with Olaf plus Anna, Kristoff and Sven on their quest to find Elsa on the North Mountain. Children will enjoy their hand print in ice at the Icy Hand Print experience, seeing how they compare in size to Sven and Olaf and having their photo taken with Olaf on the Ice Throne. End your magical journey at the Ice Palace with a visit to Santa and a special Disney Frozen Look-and-Find book!
There will also be a shop featuring Disney Frozen merchandise. The photo packages range from $22-$49 and each includes a $10 or $20 promotional certificate from Shutterfly.
If you can go during off peak hours the lines are much less. There is also a Nescafe stand right next to the line offering free coffees for everyone.
