A friendly reminder that the state legislature has once again approved a “Sales Tax Holiday” from August 1st through August 3rd. During this holiday period, Florida law directs that no sales tax or local option tax will be collected on purchases of:
- Clothing, footwear, and certain accessories selling for $100 or less per item,
- Certain school supplies selling for $15 or less per item, and
- Personal computers and certain computer-related accessories on the first $750 of the sales price, when purchased for noncommercial home or personal use.

The Junior League of St. Petersburg presents it’s annual event offering families an opportunity to get a variety of services at one place and at one time. In addition to health screenings and school physicals for the children, parents learn about resources in the community.!

Come celebrate World Breastfeeding Week at Pizza Fusion with the Hillsborough County Breastfeeding Task Force featuring The Big Latch On which will be hosted by Tampa Bay’s Breast Friend. The Latch On portion will be starting at 10:30 exactly so please be there on time and with enough time to register and settle in! Parking is available along the roads and also in the Glazer Museum’s Garage, it is pay to park. There will be pizza, awesome raffle prizes, music, Lactation Milk and Cookies bar by Birdie Bakes and The Milkie Way Cookie Co, face painting and balloon twisting, vendors and cookie decorating!
