Amanda B. is a first-time mom to Evan, born in November 2013, and a devoted wife to Jeremy, a ruggedly handsome forensic structural engineer. She’s a graduate of the University of Tampa with a political science degree and while her professional career was in law, Amanda’s current role as a stay-at-home mom (aka “domestic engineer”) is the most rewarding work of her life. Amy is a St. Petersburg-based writer who believes that forming a collegiate allegiance early in life can lead to academic success. Angela is a Long Island native, but has called Tampa Bay her home since July of 2005. She currently lives in St. Pete Beach with her husband and their daughter Sophia, born October of 2014. Araceli is originally a transplant from Brooklyn, NY. While the city will always have a piece of her heart, she can’t imagine a better place than Tampa Bay to raise a family. Ashley is mom to a literal three ring circus. Between her wife of 13 years, their 3 year old son, 8 horses, too manyme (2)dogs to count, goats, chickens, cats and her recent stint as a foster parent, there is always something going on. Less urgent care visits than one would assume, Ashley is typically found around her and her partner’s farm where Ashley teaches horseback riding lessons. Their son T is a handful of all American boy who has had therapy since nearly day one for SPD and other spectrum issues.
Bernadette is a native Florida girl, originally from Palm Beach Gardens. Currently she can be found wandering around the St. Pete and Tampa Bay areas. Bright calls Tampa home after spending 17 years in New York City. Originally from Atlanta, she graduated from FSU with a B.S. in Communications. Prior to a career in Motherhood, Bright worked in a Manhattan advertising agency, as well as a popular cable TV network in Promotions and Sponsorships. She also did Public Relations for a national urban ministry. Bright is now a stay-at-home mom who is married to her best everything, has four active kids and is passionate about moms! Crystal hails from Central Eastern Illinois – no where near Chicago! She holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema and Photography and an MBA in Marketing. Although she left the cornfields of Illinois to live the life in Florida, after having her son, she misses the simple life that she tried so hard to leave almost 13 years ago. Crystal and her husband went to the same high school, however, they didn’t officially meet until after college. They moved to Florida to start a new life. Engaged during a Phish concert, the two married 8 years after they moved to Florida. They welcomed their only child in 2012. Their ginger son is their life and he continues to crack them up on a daily basis. Crystal still finds time to be creative outside of taking care of her son and household. Cynthia is a Reading Coach who resides in Riverview with her husband Andre of five years. She’s a mommy to one beautiful, energetic two year old Arianna. Dianelly is a full time baby’s cord blood stem cell educator with an entrepreneur spirit. She is originally from Medellin, Colombia, but has lived in Tampa Bay for the majority of her life. She married her high school sweet heart, Hector, who fully supports her in all of her crazy business ideas and have owned 3 businesses together. They were blessed with two beautiful and highly energetic boys; Gabby (5) and Miggy (2), who take up all of her free time and wake her up early on the weekends. Jackie moved to the Tampa Bay area from Brooklyn, NY in 2010. Currently her and her husband Adam live in Plant City. She is learning how to balance being a new mom, working full time, and trying to get back into a healthy lifestyle (which includes training for full and half marathons) after dealing with pregnancy complications that caused heart failure. Jennifer Sullivan is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in women’s fitness – prenatal, postpartum and beyond. She is the wife of a busy attorney and mother of 3, Ripken (Nov ‘10), Brooks (July ‘12) and a baby girl, Palmer born in August. Jennifer keeps busy with her family teetering on basic survival and making wonderful memories all while trying not to stress over the messy floors, piles of laundry and overwhelming todo list. When she isn’t busy helping other women get fit, healthy and strong through her Baby Boot Camp and Karna Fitness businesses, she fits in her own workouts. Leah is a St. Petersburg native. Married to her real life hero, Ryan, of 4 years. Leah stays busy chasing after their little ones; three year old daughter Rylee and ten month old son Jake. Originally a Michigander, Marjorie believes she should have been born in the Sunshine State and loves everything Tampa Bay has to offer. She is still just as fascinated by the palm trees, beaches, and endless sunshine as the day she first called Florida home four years ago. Marjorie has a wonderful husband – a tall, redhead named Kyle (you can’t miss him!) – and a super sweet 11-month-old boy named Connor. They live in Hillsborough County but enjoy exploring all parts of Tampa Bay. Marjorie has a passion for fitness and healthy living and incorporates physical activity into her daily life – whether she’s taking classes at the gym or going for walks at the park with her son. Melanie is the mother to two beautiful boys, ages 3 and 8. She worked as a news reporter in multiple markets across the country including Tampa Bay and is currently the spokeswoman for the Pasco Sheriff’s Office. Her husband is a news reporter for a local station so you can imagine how busy it can get around her home. They have lived in Tampa Bay for six years and love everything this area has to offer. Originally from Tennessee, she misses the mountains, not the winters! She has been writing since she was just a small child and has been fortunate to make a career of it. Since she left her journalism career for public relations, she is excited to focus more on her creative writing, blogging, and working harder to get a children’s book published. Her job both as a reporter and now as a public information officer in law enforcement puts her in the middle of some pretty crazy things so trying to find that balance with motherhood can be a challenge but somehow she makes it work. Quincey is a former high school English teacher and current adjunct for the First Year Composition program at the University of South Florida, which is also her alma mater. A native of the Orlando area, she cannot imagine living or mom-ing anywhere other than the Sunshine State. She and her husband Brian have two active, quirky and hilarious little girls and live in the Westchase area. In her spare time, Quincey avidly devours books, walks and bikes to stay active, researches slow cooker recipes, and tries to vacuum up pet hair quicker than her two fat cats and one lean greyhound can spread it around.
Rebecca is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and supporter of parents finding their own path. She’s the Founder and Executive Director of The Consciously Parenting Project and holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, working as a holistic therapist and consultant. Rebecca has called Tampa Bay home since 2006. She currently lives in Tarpon Springs with her 2 boys, Zach, 16, and Josh, 11, her fiancé, Tra, who is a work from home IT guy, his kids, Claudia, 18, and Nathan, 21, along with a moody Chihuahua, a loud cat, and a hedgehog. Sarah E. Pearsall received her MFA in creative writing from Florida International University. She and Sarah E Pearsall Bio photoher family moved to the Tampa Bay area in May of 2015 from West Palm Beach, FL and is currently a writing instructor at the University of South Florida and a freelance food writer. Shawna is originally from Miami, Florida, but has called the Tampa Bay area her home since 2005.
