Baby Time, Motion Commotion, Toddler Time, Jump, Jive And Jam!, Story Time, Alphabet Club, Movin’ and Groovin’, Baby & Toddler Yoga, Wee Artists, Bilingual Story Time, and Baby Sign Language. These are just a few of the 30 minute pre-school activities provided by your local library. They’re baaack! For the first time in 65 million years, dinosaurs will take over Tampa Bay and roam the Zoo every day! Grab the whole family and get ready to be surrounded by life size dinosaurs as you experience Dinos Alive! Learn about dinosaurs through the eyes of a paleontologist and connect with present-day species of wildlife on the brink of extinction. When you visit the Florida Strawberry Festival, we want you to see, taste and smell all that the strawberry has to offer! We will have 11 full days of strawberries, shortcake, big name concerts, rides, stage shows, attractions, food galore, exhibits, displays, contests, competitions and a berry sweet time for the whole family!

Saturday, March 4th
This free, bike-riding event encourages three to six-year-olds and their families to enjoy their local parks with healthy, active, outdoor fun! Preschoolers are invited to bring their tricycle, bicycle or big wheel to ride at the park with Curious George. Free bicycle helmets will be handed out, while supplies last, courtesy of Disparti Law Group and Safe Routes. Gearlink will be providing helmet fitting and bike safety checks.
Other activities will include a bicycle rodeo, healthy recipe demonstrations, photo opportunities, free books, inflatable games, crafts and a special performance by national children’s entertainer, Silly Sam the Music Man!

Tampa Bay Area Renaissance Festival
Take a time-travel adventure into the 16th century at the annual Bay Area Renaissance Festival! Join our Queen in a jubilee! Journey back in time as more than 100 merchants contribute to the atmosphere of this charming 16th century village. Experience live armored jousting, 12 stages of entertainment, 7 theme weekends, and fun and food for the whole family! The Festival is open weekends, with a special day for schools and seniors on Festival Friday, March 31st, 2017. The Festival is open Rain or Shine. Parking at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival is always free! Discount tickets are available at participating Walgreens stores and at MOSI.

The first full weekend of each month, The Largo Central Railroad provides free public runs of their mini train.
The train tracks cover 1.2 miles through the beautiful Largo Central Park. Train hours are from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on the first Saturday and Sunday of the month. Children must be at least one years old to ride. Pregnant women can not ride the trains due to insurance regulations.

In celebration of World Wildlife Day, Clearwater Marine Aquarium will have a special live exhibit on Sunday, March 5th. Florida Birds of Prey will be located at our downtown Clearwater location. Learn all about Florida Birds of Prey! Boyd Hill Nature Park, George C. McGough Nature Park and Owl’s Nest will be joining us to exhibit their rescued birds of prey including a Screech owl, Red tailed hawk, kestral and more!
