Our lives are super busy and it can be hard to find time to create cute and tasty treats for Halloween. I have spent hours scouring the web for the best & easiest treats you can make in under an hour and your kids can help, too. One of my favorite things about Halloween is making yummy things with my boys, even though we don’t have much time to do them.
2.) Pumpkin Krispies: Everyone loves Rice Krispy Treats. Follow the recipe on the back of any Rice Krispy cereal box, adding orange food coloring to the melted marshmallows. Then, shape into pumpkins while the mixture is still warm.
3.) Halloween Bark: It looks like you spent all day in the kitchen, but this recipe is super simple. Buy white or milk chocolate candy melts at any crafts store. Spread the melted chocolate on a sheet pan lined with parchment or wax paper. Then, add your favorite Halloween candy! Some suggestions: candy corn, Halloween Oreos – crushed, M&M’s, Pretzels or sprinkles. For an added touch of terror, purchase the candy eyes found in any store that carries cake decorating supplies.
4.) Hot Dog Mummies: For something savory, try these cute hot dogs. All you need are hot dogs and refrigerated biscuit dough. Clip strips of the dough to wrap around the hot dog. Bake in the oven till golden brown. Add eyes for an extra spooky effect!
Try some of these spine-tingling treats at your next party or to make your Halloween festive!
