As a mom that budgets down to the penny, I’m always looking for a great deal. Dining out is a luxury in our house. That said, my husband and I each try to have a simple lunch or dinner date with our son every week. Unfortunately, our son is a picky toddler – I’m sure you can all relate. We absolutely love our lunch/dinner dates together but spending $5.00 or more on a meal that may or may not be eaten just hurts. After ordering a few full-priced meals out that were left on the table untouched, I knew we needed a cheaper way to continue this tradition. I set out in search of places that offered free, or deeply discounted, kids meals. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with the options. Several restaurants around the Tampa Bay area offer a “Kids Eat Free Night” during the week, many of which may surprise you.
Louis Pappas Market Cafe (This offer is good from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
Gathering Place (This offer is good thru November)
Moes Southwest Grill (This offer begins at 5:00 p.m.)
McAlister’s Deli (Westshore) is hosting a special kids eat free night on Thursday, October 24, 2013.
Finally, while not all restaurants offer a regular “Kids Eat Night”, a few do offer some other great deals worth mentioning:
Sign up for Chili’s Email Club and you’ll find that you receive regular coupons for a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult entrée.
Sign up for MyCrispers Rewards (which is free) and kids’ meals will cost you only $1.49 any time.
Piccadilly offers Kids’ Meals for just $0.99 every day after 4 p.m.
We hope this list helps you navigate Kids Eat Free nights in the area. Happy – and FREE – dining!
Disclaimer: This list is not inclusive. Restrictions apply. Most free meal deals apply to children 10 and under, apply after 4:00 p.m., and provide for one free kid’s meal with each adult entrée purchased. Be sure to verify the deals and restrictions at your dining location.
